Humanistic therapy is an umbrella term that covers several types of therapy, including person-centred therapy, Gestalt, existential therapy, emotion-focused therapy and others. These all share a common core set of values in which you are the expert in your life and no assumptions are made about your values and beliefs. I integrate or combine elements of therapy bespoke to your needs and problems. I will talk about therapy with you so that the experience is collaborative.​​

I work with a Person-Centred approach at the heart of what I do, offering my own authenticity, empathy and positive regard for every client. My role is then to ask questions, create reflective spaces and exploration of your experiences within the subsequent therapeutic relationship. This then provides a safe space for you to explore difficult experiences and gain greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and lead to a more balanced and realistic relationship with challenging aspects of life.
